Information Sharing Scheme
The Victorian Government introduced reforms through legislation that aim to remove barriers to information sharing and enable services and organisations to work together more effectively to support the wellbeing and safety of children and reduce family violence.
INFORMATION SHARING SCHEMES
Information Sharing Entities (ISE)
The Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) Secretariat and DOSCEL schools are prescribed as Information Sharing Entities (ISE) under the Child Information Sharing Scheme and the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (Schemes).
In addition, the DOSCEL Secretariat and DOSCEL schools are also Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) organisations.
This enables the DOSCEL Secretariat and DOSCEL schools to have an expanded ability to collaborate and share confidential information with other ISEs to promote the wellbeing and safety of children and to assess or manage family violence risk. Information is shared while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
